1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how AnswerGlass (“AnswerGlass,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit answerglass.com, submit a question, contact us, or otherwise use the service. By using AnswerGlass, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. Information we process

Questions and generated content

We process the questions, instructions, and other content you submit, along with the answers and supporting traces produced for you. A question can contain personal information if you choose to include it.

Technical information

Our hosting and security systems may automatically receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, request time, referring page, error logs, and security signals. We use this information to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Messages to us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information in your message so we can respond and maintain an appropriate support record.

Advertising orders

If you purchase advertising, we process your email address, uploaded image, destination URL, selected duration, order identifiers, payment status, placement dates, impressions, and clicks. Stripe processes payment-card and checkout information. AnswerGlass does not receive or store your full card number.

3. How questions are routed

AnswerGlass is designed to compare answers from multiple AI providers. Depending on availability and the nature of your question, submitted content may be transmitted to providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Alibaba Cloud/Qwen, Z.ai/GLM, and DeepSeek. A current-data question may also be sent to a relevant data or search service.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We configure providers to minimize retention where supported, but we cannot control every provider’s independent legal obligations, abuse monitoring, or temporary processing. Do not use AnswerGlass for passwords, authentication codes, payment-card data, protected health information, confidential client material, trade secrets, or other sensitive data.

4. How we use information

• To answer your question and produce the Glass View.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and improve AnswerGlass.
• To detect abuse, fraud, attacks, and technical failures.
• To respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
• To comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms.
• To fulfill advertising orders, rotate placements, count impressions and clicks, prevent abuse, and email end-of-run statistics.

We do not sell your personal information or your questions. If advertising is introduced, sponsored placements will be labeled and kept separate from the substance of the answer.

5. Retention

We aim to keep identifiable question content only as long as reasonably necessary to return the answer, maintain security, investigate errors, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Operational logs may be retained for a limited period. Provider retention periods are controlled by their respective policies and our available account settings.

6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The initial AnswerGlass service does not require an advertising cookie to answer a question. We may use essential storage for security, preferences, rate limiting, or session continuity. If we add analytics or interest-based advertising that legally requires consent, we will provide the required notice and controls before activating it for affected visitors.

A request for an active sponsored placement records an impression. Following its sponsored link records a click before redirecting to the advertiser’s destination. These aggregate measurements are reported to the advertiser. We do not give advertisers the visitor’s question, identity, IP address, or individual browsing history.

7. When information may be disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers working on our behalf; when reasonably necessary to protect AnswerGlass, our users, or the public; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets; or when required by valid legal process. We do not authorize service providers to use submitted content for their own unrelated marketing.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information about how your personal information is handled. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request or complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children

AnswerGlass is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

10. Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet service can promise absolute security. Because our providers operate globally, information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and provider terms.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as AnswerGlass changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated in a manner appropriate to their significance.
