Fair, readable terms
Terms of Use
Effective July 27, 2026
AnswerGlass helps you inspect AI-generated answers; it does not guarantee that an answer is complete or correct. Verify important decisions with qualified sources and professionals.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to answerglass.com and the AnswerGlass service. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally capable of entering this agreement; if you use AnswerGlass for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
2. What AnswerGlass provides
AnswerGlass may submit a question to multiple AI systems, obtain outside data, compare returned material, and present a synthesized answer with an evidence and execution trace called Glass View. Glass View is not a transcript of any model’s private chain of thought or a complete record of every internal computation.
Features, providers, models, usage limits, and availability may change. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the service, including to address security, legal, cost, provider, or technical concerns.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use AnswerGlass to:
- Break the law, facilitate harm, or violate another person’s rights.
- Submit information you do not have the right or authority to share.
- Seek or distribute malware, credential theft, unauthorized access, exploitation, or instructions intended to cause physical harm.
- Harass, defraud, impersonate, discriminate against, or deceptively manipulate others.
- Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, evade limits, or interfere with the service or its providers.
- Present AI output as professionally reviewed when it has not been, or conceal legally required disclosures about automated content.
We may restrict or block activity that reasonably appears unsafe, unlawful, abusive, or harmful to the service.
4. Your content and generated output
You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You grant AnswerGlass a limited, worldwide license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and format that content only as necessary to provide, secure, and improve the service and meet legal obligations.
As between you and AnswerGlass, and to the extent permitted by law and applicable provider terms, you may use the generated output. AI output may not be unique, and other users may receive similar material. You are responsible for reviewing output and ensuring your use does not violate law, confidentiality, intellectual-property rights, publicity rights, contracts, or provider terms.
5. Advertising and commercial relationships
AnswerGlass may display clearly labeled advertising, sponsored placements, or affiliate links. Payment for placement does not entitle an advertiser to control the substance of an organic answer. Sponsored material will be visually distinguished from the answer. We may earn a fee when you interact with or purchase through certain commercial links.
Self-serve advertiser terms
Image placements cost US $20 for each seven-day period purchased. Advertisers may purchase multiple weeks in one transaction. A paid placement begins after Stripe confirms payment and rotates with other active placements. A purchase reserves time in the rotation; it does not guarantee a particular number of impressions, clicks, sales, audience characteristics, placement order, or business result.
Creative must be a 300×300 or 728×90 PNG or JPEG image, with PNG preferred, and must link to a valid HTTP or HTTPS destination. The advertiser represents that it owns or has all rights needed for the image, trademarks, claims, destination, and promoted goods or services. Ads may not be unlawful, deceptive, infringing, malicious, sexually exploitative, hateful, or designed to distribute malware, steal credentials, or mislead visitors about AnswerGlass.
We may reject, pause, or remove a placement that violates these Terms, law, payment-network rules, or reasonable safety standards. If we reject a compliant ad before its run begins, our remedy is to correct the placement, provide comparable replacement time, or refund the unused amount. Except where law requires otherwise, elapsed ad time is non-refundable. Impression and click statistics are operational estimates and may exclude suspected automated or abusive activity.
6. Third-party services
AnswerGlass depends on AI providers, data sources, hosting companies, links, and other third-party services. Their terms and policies may apply to your use. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, security, or business practices. A citation or link is not an endorsement.
7. No professional advice or guaranteed accuracy
Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, biased, offensive, or unsupported even when it appears confident. AnswerGlass is not a substitute for a doctor, lawyer, accountant, financial adviser, engineer, emergency service, or other qualified professional. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, employment, housing, credit, insurance, or other high-impact decisions.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnswerGlass is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, security, accuracy, or that output will meet your needs.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so part of this section may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnswerGlass and its operators, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunities, or business interruption arising from or related to the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid AnswerGlass for the service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $50. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Indemnity
If you use AnswerGlass on behalf of a business or organization, that organization will defend and indemnify AnswerGlass and its operators from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from its unlawful use of the service, content it submits, or material breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Disputes
Before filing a formal claim, please email hey@answerglass.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute will be governed by applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief or using an eligible small-claims procedure.
12. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, financing, acquisition, or sale of the service.
